Click Tools on the menu bar, point to Advanced Editing, and select TouchUp Text Tool.
The pointer shape changes to a cursor shape when you move it over text in the document.
Select the text to modify the font properties.
Right-click the selected text and select Properties from the shortcut menu.
The TouchUp Properties dialog box is displayed.
Note: The changes you specify in the TouchUp Properties dialog box are simultaneously previewed in the PDF document.
To change the font of the selected text, select a font from the Font drop-down list.
Note: The fonts used in the document are listed first, and the other fonts installed on your computer are listed after a blank space.
Select the font size for the selected text from the Font Size drop-down list.
To modify the spacing between the characters in the selected text, select a character spacing value from the Character Spacing drop-down list.
To modify the spacing between the words in the selected text, select a word spacing value from the Word Spacing drop-down list.
To stretch or shrink the selected text horizontally, select a scaling value from the Horizontal Scaling drop-down list.
To embed the font within the PDF file, select the Embed check box.
Note: Embedding the font within the PDF file prevents font substitution on a user's computer, if the user does not have the font installed. All fonts can not be embedded in a PDF file and the status of a selected font can be viewed in the Permissions section. To reduce the file size of an embedded file, select the Subset check box to embed only those characters of the font that are used in the document.
To change the font color of the selected text, select a fill color from the Fill drop-down menu.
To give the selected text a paint brush effect, select a stroke color from the Stroke drop-down menu, and select a stroke width from the Stroke Width drop-down list.
To shift the selected text vertically from its original location in the document, select an offset value from the Baseline Offset drop-down list.
Click Close to close the TouchUp Properties dialog box and apply the changes to the selected text.
